A pair of painted plaster busts of Truganini and Woureddy dating from the 1830s were withdrawn from sale prior to the auction taking place at Sotheby's in Melbourne. They were withdrawn to protect the security of Sotheby's staff and the public (was the outcry not a reason?). Busts Withdrawn From Sale
